It all started with a little show called 'Secret Life of an American Teenager' that show never told girls to go get preganant or that it was cool, but it gave the entertainment business a whole new look on things. MTV was the first to jump on the teen pregnanacy fad, starting with their show '16 & Pregnant' showing multiple pregnant teenage girls, and their life. After that came their show 'Teen Mom' showing the girls after they had their babies. The show shows the complicated life of being teenage parents, but the thing is. Are these shows making teen girls want to be pregnant more to be famous? Or scaring them away from sex? I do enjoy both of these shows but what Im worried about, is what will it do to our future women? We dont want a bunch of young moms running the world now do we. Abstenance is the only way you cant get pregnant. Now lets get serious we know we cant stop ALL teenagers from having sex, but putting their personal lives on MTV cause its probably the only way they think they can get money. Thats just crazy.
